This is Alison

I am an international product designer and Webflow developer living in New York.
As a third culture kid, I was born an American and raised in Indonesia, I learned to appreciate and listen to diverse and unique perspectives on the world. Visual storytelling is my bread and butter and I have always gravitated towards creative projects that cultivate my inner storytelling abilities.
Designing digital products allows me to tap into my storytelling while creating meaningful experiences that enriches people's lives.

Shorty Award winner for Extended reality Campaign
The HBO Warrior Interactive AR Mural received an award for best Extended Reality campaign and was a finalist in the Event and Experiential category

Start of MY Design Journey

In 2019, I transferred to the Academy of Art University to pursue my new path in product design. I studied graphic design, advertising and user experience during my bachelors.

First UX Internship @ Superworld 2021

While I was briefly living in Dubai, I decided to take on a UX Design internship with Superworld to build their first NFT marketplace alongside product managers, engineers and designers.

DLDP Internship @ Raytheon Technologies

During the summer 2021, I came back to California to start my next remote internship with Raytheon Technologies. As a digital leadership development intern, I worked on improving an enterprise chatbot used throughout the company.

Winning Student Design Charette 2022

I decided to take part in IXDA's Student Design Charette while I was recovering from a knee injury and studying from home. I worked collaboratively with two other students during the two week event. At the end, our team won and we presented our work in Zurich in 2023.

UX and Research Design Internship @ Chamberlain Group

During Summer 2022, I moved to Chicago for my UX Internship at Chamberlain Group. I worked alongside brilliant engineers and industrial designers to bring our three-part solution to life. I continued my internship as a design researcher during the fall where I assisted the following capstone project on developing their smart-home product.

After receiving my BFA from the Academy of Art University in May 2023, I worked alongside former instructor Mark Hellar on the HBO project to promote Warrior. The show was written by Bruce Lee and produced by Shannon Lee.
